How you would use with your students and brief summary: The story starts when Ansel, a mute boy, is sold by his by his father to a heroic dragon slayer, named Brock. They both set out to find and kill the mythical beast of a dragon, but Ansel is convinced there is no such thing as dragons and Brock is just a crook. This would be a great book to get more boys involved in reading since the main character is a young boy.
