How you would use with your students and brief summary: This book is about a young girl who was home schooled and is now going to be in a public school starting in 4th grade. She is part African American, Caucasian, Japanese, and Korean and when she starts at her new school it takes a bit for her to be accepted and some students even laugh at her. She soon finds friends that are biracial that she gets along with well. This would be great to use against bullying and helping to accept people that may not be the same race as you are.
